another stupid question but figured if i ask here ill get the right answer.

I was told by someone who may (or may not) know what they are doing that it is not necessary it tab pillar or container candles? just measure the length needed center it and pour around it. that just didn't sound very fire safe, can somone tell me yes or no?

Thank you for the info maybe Ill just stick with the fo's and leave the essentials for the chakra candles that I do.

From everything I've read so far it seems alot of you prefer using fo's.Does anyone use EO's? if so where could I find them reasonable priced? I want to try an aromatheraphy line and don't think fo's would work for that?

The wax label doesnt say if its blended or not so i would go with probably not. which additive/how much would you recommend? if heating up the fo before adding how hot can i safely go? Thank you all for the input!

thanks for the suggestions. i used the wax from yaleys from the craft store with the starter kit no additives solid color block with a couple different scents. 1 oz fo to a pound

hi to all! I am new to the candle making artform and wanted to thank all in advance for the wonderful info i have found so far!

My question is this i poured a couple of pillars the other nite the turned out ok but when i tried to use up the leftover wax in a mold similar to small cinnamon bun ( or a big tea lite) after pour and repour looked ok pulled out of the mold and there was all this liquid on the bottom? on one of them tilled sideways and it just ran out of the candle:confused: any help would be appreciated!
