  1. Bumping this because it is one of my FAVORITE scents and its discontinued!
  2. I think the walmart melts are amazing, not gonna lie lol. They smell great. I also have two of their warmers, and I started making my own wax melts, and was angry that I couldn't get them to smell good!! I tried a different brand of warmer and I can finally smell them, so I am not gonna use the walmart ones any longer.
  3. Thank you for your respond! What size wick from Aztec do you use in an 8 Oz jelly jar if you use them? Thanks!
  4. I am using 464 wax with 6% FO pp in an 8 oz jelly jar. I tested with an eco 8 and a cd 10. It took two burns at 3 hours for a full melt pool with the cd 10. About 2.5 hours for full melt pool second burn for the eco. My jars are pretty hot though, especially now that the one is almost to the bottom (eco wick) I can pick and move up if had to, but its HOT. So how do you gauge if its too hot? Also, I am pretty annoyed lol. I am just doing this as a hobby, but my melts and candles, while fun to make, the hot throw sucks! Ive tried several different candlescience FO, poured at 185 (the oil) stired until 135 and poured. Left to cure at least a week. Ive tested with and without candlescience chip dye. Any suggestions? Ive tried 464 wax, and milliard 324 For my melts I use pillar blend. Thanks!
  5. Made these for my family and I. cs cChristmas hearth mixed with cinnamon stick. Pb blend.
  6. Thank you Such a pita testing, because every jar I seem to try doesnt seem to work with any size ECO wick that I have lol! But I am going to keep trying.
  7. ps for the trade, it doesnt have to be all the same FO, it can be different ones if you, like me have several ounce bottles that you would like to part with Thanks!
  8. I recently purchased several sampler packs from CS, and I just absolutely hate strawberry shortcake lol! I read a lot of threads on here how much people love it, so hopefully someone will like to do this, cause I will not be using it! I have 5 total of 1 ounce bottles of it that I would love to trade with someone for something else. 4-5 ounces would be fine I just do not want anything fresh or floral I am in the 15017 zipcode Let me know if interested, thanks!
  9. I also have a bag without soy additives, I cant remember the numbers, but I believe its 356 or 345 , will have to check later. Thanks!
  10. Oh, thank you! Do you know what the additives are? I am new to this, and pretty confused with a lot of things lol
  11. Hi there, I was wondering which jars are good for the eco 10 and eco 12? I have received a bunch of both as a gift, and my 8 oz jelly jars are too small, and pint mason jars are too large, and 13 oz mason jar is too large as well. I use 100% soy wax, 444 is what I have now I believe, and candlescience FO usually 1-1.5 oz pp. Thanks!
  12. CS strawberry shortcake FO, and eco 10 wicks. Possibly will be too large of a wick, but I do not have any smaller ones yet, and wanted to test em out. I had so much fun making these!
  13. I am having so much fun in this new hobby already! I am a total scent a holic. I have been making my own BnB products, and incenses for a while now, and finally took the plunge into candles/tarts. Reading all of the fragrances just makes me light up =)) What are your opinions on these for use in soy candles and tarts. I have several of these coming my way from candlescience Pomegranate Cider, Cranberry Marmalade, Macintosh Apple, Pumpkin Souffle Blue Spruce, Christmas Hearth, Mistletoe, Amaretto Nog Cinnamon Buns, Blueberry Cobbler, Strawberry Shortcake, Hansel and Gretel's House Dragon's Blood, Caribbean Teakwood, Egyptian Amber, Nag Champa Love spell, and Very Vanilla I have tried hansel and gretels , LOVE Mixed cinnabun with very vanilla and made a bunch of tarts. I tested one today (3 days of curing, I just couldnt wait lol) and it is AMAZING! I used a bit of Very Vanilla in a rollerball perfume cut with sweet almond oil, and it is lovely! I havnt tested the others yet, but I am looking forward to it
  14. I currently have four candles from them. Smell my nuts(lol) orange creamsicle, autumn leaves, and apple pie. The smell my nuts one, which is a mix of banana bread, coconut, and hazelnut, has a very light scent throw, the orange creamsicle smells like nothing, the autumn leaves has a strong HT, and I havnt burned the apple pie. I too am blown away by how cheap they are.
  15. Yes that was my first burn! I re melted the wax, and poured into a smaller diameter jar. Going to order some larger wicks as well
  16. This is a 16 oz mason jar (3 in diameter), with 100% soy wax, 1 oz hansel and gretels house FO. Eco 12 wick, which I thought was good for this size, but apparently not huh? Smells great when not burned, not much of a hot throw at all. Do you think I should go up to a 14? After 1 hour of burning After 2 hours of burning After 3 hours of burning Thanks for taking the time to look
  17. Thanks so much! I will try out the smallest one then in the 8 oz.
  18. I just bought these from amazon since I have some amazon gift cards. Will these work in an 8 or 4 oz jelly jar? Thanks! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0092RKNDQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2OIQ0RXEU0EI4 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0092RKJNU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2OIQ0RXEU0EI4 And these possibly in a 16 oz mason jar? http://www.amazon.com/CandleScience-Natural-Candle-Large-piece/dp/B0092RN1C6/ref=sr_1_1?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1381753340&sr=1-1 If not, what would you recommend these be used for? I have these two waxes, and will be receiving some paraffin today. Milliard All Natural Soy Wax 324, 10 lb. Bag and Eco Soya Cb-Pb molded candle soy wax Thanks so much! I am new to candle making, and hoping to just make some for myself, and eventually friends/family once I get it down properly .
  19. Thank you Steve! I will definitely do the tests that you mentioned. How would I go about finding a near distributor?
  20. Yikes, I tried to respond and my message disappears lol, so I apologize if this posts twice. Thank you SO much for the responses!!!!! I went ahead and ordered the medium sized wicks too just to be safe. Last night I made my first soy candle, I had wicks that are too small, so I double wicked the jar. I just wanted to test one before my good oils and such come, to see how the process goes that I tried. It looks and smells fantastic cold. I haven't lit it yet, so not sure about hot throw. Is paraffin easier to get a good scent throw? Would it be worth looking into paraffin jar candles too? Thanks!
  21. I just read the bag of wax, would it be better to mix in the FO at 185 and pour at the 135 degrees like it says? Thanks!
