LOL ! I need to check this out. I haven't seen them yet. Boxes sound like a great idea! I don't know if I'd use tissue paper. I had some pillars made with 1343 that weeped. I had cigar bands around them (I didn't seal them first) and the weeping caused discoloration and bleeding on the bands. If I'd had tissue paper (colored), I'm sure it would have bleed off on the candle as well.

I have a embossing gun and it works just fine for heating molds and touch ups.

I was using J223. I am experimenting with a soy/paraffin blend right now. The jury is still out on this one for now.

I currently use the 4" shrink tubing for my "everything"!!! I use it for votives, melts, and t-lites!! I am looking for 3" shrink tubing, I think it would fit the votives better and not have so much extra left on the votive. I want "The perfect fit". Does anyone have a supplier for 3" tubing?

I think Beth posted some time back on the old board the Packco was going to carry the 3" tubing. Give them a call as they don't have the tubing listed on their site. I think her name is Laura (it's been a while since I ordered) and she's really helpful.

How are people making the larger flower pot looking votive? In the past, I have seen the exact shape votive glass but didnt think I could use a glass to make a candle. So, can someone please explain how these are made to me?? Thanks!

I have a couple of cases of the flower pot votive glasses. I use a votive wick pin and fill with wax. Let them cool. Sometimes, I have to put them in the frig for about 5-10 minutes and they pop right out. HTH

I did a set of pillars a while back in a sky blue, medium blue and dark denium blue rustic. They looked pretty neat.

Ditto on the weather here. Bombs just kick my butt! I really love the 2 tone colors.
