  1. Anyone know of a FO called Galaxy? I bought a votive at a local store because I liked the smell, lit it this morning, smells wonderful. Not a good candle though, a hole all the way through the center, but the scent was wonderful, looked on fragrance finder and couldn't find anything.

  2. 4627 is very sticky, messy wax, it also has an awesome fragrance throw.,

I've been testing this wax and when I got mine it, I put it up on the counter and peeled the bag off, took a hot knife and sliced out 1 pound batches and put each pound in a zip lock baggie, it's very messy but that way it's only extremely messy once.

  3. I've bought from thecandlesource , candlechem and sensational48.(Those are they ebay seller id's) I buy from thecandlesource.com now (website instead of ebay), I've liked almost everything I've bought from them. I love candlechem, their oils are nice and strong, some are kind of funky smelling oob but change in wax, love them. sensational48 has a sandalwood bouquet that I absolutely LOVE. (That's the only one I really buy from that one)

  4. Hi,

Have never tried this wax, but if you email them and tell them what kind and your address they'll send you a 1 pound sample. I emailed them Monday and got mine today. On the homepage, on the right I believe is a green area, click on the link that says candlewic candle wax blends, there's a link about the middle of the page that pops up to send an email.

  5. I emailed Early American Candle and asked about J225.

This is the reply I got,

The cost for an 11lb slab is $19.00 plus shipping &handling. That is what is considered a “sample”. If you want a case of the J225 (55lbs) – the cost is $63.80/case plus shipping and handling.

I guess the cost is coming down some now, I wish the 11 lb slab was a little cheaper than that tho, maybe it'll come down a little more:)

  6. I have a little 6006 left, I think I'll mix it with the 4627 and see how it goes.

I think the smooshy wax is going to get on my nerves :) I'd like to make it work just because I can get it without paying shipping charges. (I think)

There are so many other waxes to try I don't know where to start, too bad there's not a little wax fairy to whisper in my ear and tell me, use this, it'd be perfect for you!
