  1. I got some of that from Micheal's called CandleWiz, it's actually from Candlewic. I like it a lot. It is actually quite close to the real thing. I still have a cold though. lol.
  2. I'm going to try the method on here. I can tell by the mottling I got it too hot. When I try to make a mottle I can't get it, now I see at the bottom that's what I got. Will try it again and not sooo hot this time. Thanks for all the help. You all have been great.
  3. I think I'm pouring it too hot. I read somwhere to chill the mold first. I use the wax that I get at Michael's. It comes in 11 lb slabs. I'm not really sure what it is. It's called Premium candle wax and has a 148* melt point. It's the only wax I can get around here, ( no credit card). I used Paradise Breeze fo from Yaley, 1 ounce. I'm going to go back to the techniqies here and try again with those directions. I didn't put any stearic in it. Thnanks for the help. I'll just keep trying till I get it right. Thanks.
  4. I've tried to make a layered rustic and can't get it right, no matter what. I give up on them. I tried to make this look like a sunrise ( Colors ) . Could someone please tell me how you do them? I'm at my wits end. I did this by putting it in the freezer first, then each layer.Help!!! Please!!!

  6. Thanks for the nice comments. The color is all a cream color all the way down. I think it is the glass that makes it look brown at the bottom. But it is all one color all the way down.

  10. I used CandleKitty's method, using dark purple as the primary and turquoise as the secondary. Hope this helps. Will pm you her method if you prefer.
  11. I bought 2 new molds and some new scents ( For me) , and wanted to try them out. The marbled are tropical ? The name was worn off, but it smells wonderful. Will have to go back to Micheal's and get more and find out the name. The chunkie is scented Sugar cookie, not a good cold throw. The cream colored is scented Summer Sorbet, what a wonderful scent. Still have to test burn. Thanks for looking.

  14. I tried something different tonight. I made a hurricane shell, melted color chips, then took an eye dropper and drizzled the color all over. I have it unlit here and in the reply it is lit. Thanks for looking.

  17. Somewhere here is a post about a website with carved balloon shaped candles. I remember it is located in some alleyway. Does anyone know where it is? I want to try more of the carving and want to find that link. Could someone help me please? Thank you.
  18. Here are a few that I made this weekend. The balloon is shown lit and unlitThe blue is a marbled I did with Kitty's method. I used a whit dye block to do it.

  21. I was so happy with this , I decided to post it. I went through the old archives and found the swirl directions. Decided to give it a try. By the way... My wick is centered and the pic is cropped, lol. So here it is.
