WSP Lotion Bases...

For those you you who purchase lotion bases from WSP, which one you recommend? I am looking for something a little thick that goes on smooth and does not leave a greasy feeling. I am also wanting to use this in Body Parfaits...

Never tried WSP's bases, but I love Lindsay's (Soaper's Workshop)

She makes them condensed, so you can customize the thickness up to 1:1 base to water. It goes on smooth, isn't greasy to me.

My aunt says it "leaves a slight barrier, so you feel moisturized, but it isn't greasy at all".

I like their Head To Toe. Most of my friends love it too. It, to me, doesn't leave a stickiness, after it's on a few seconds it feels silky. IMO

I use the basic, but am searching for something new for the New Year. I might give Lindsay or a try or the fantasy creme from OT, or the Lotion and Cream Creator from WSP.

I use WSP's Goats Milk, Honey & Shea lotion & its a huge hit. Been using it for over a year. EASY to scent. No base "smell".

I have been using WSP lotion bases for several years. Head to Toe and Satin & Silk. I just started using Goats Milk & Honey. Oh My Gosh! It is devine.

I love the powdery after feel it leaves. Try it, You'll like it!

I use the Goat's Milk & Honey and the Satin & Silk - customers love it. I make the satin & silk in a body cream and put in jar, Goats Milk thin a little with sterile water, it is really thick.

Now I want to try the Goat's Milk and Honey...

I think that I have tried every single base from WSP. I have absolutely loved every single one with the exception of the base with the evening primrose in it. That one was not bad. It just absorbed into the skin too quickly.

All my bases come from WSP with the exception of the body frosting I get from essentials by catalina. Customers really like that also.

Do you market the EssCat body frosting as a lotion, cream or a butter?

Others described it as a frosting, rather than a butter that felt smooth, whipped, and thick. they all agreed that it FEELS FABULOUS ON THE SKIN.

Considering the comments that we received we decided that calling it a body butter would do it no justice.

That is what Essentials describes it.

I just tell them it is called a body frosting, sorta like a butter and sorta like a body cream and they decide which they want to call it. Know that it doesn't answer your ? but the best I can come up with:D

The body frosting is the same thing JS sells as the mousse. To me it is a light fluffy type of "lotion". I package mine in bottles but have seen some say they package it in jars. You have to whip it after adding FO to fluff it/thicken it back up if you want to package it in jars.

I personally don't think it has the texture of a butter or cream.
