What is this that's formed on my M&P soap??

I used WSP's extra clear M&P glycerin base. I added stearic acid and a vanilla stabilizer. What caused this crystal like matter (for lack of better terms) to form?? TIA

Not being able to touch your soap, here is my best guess...

Moisture... when my M&P is exposed to a humid environment it forms a sort of crystal looking coating.

Maybe someone else will pop in with another reason that your soap looks that way.

so spritzing w/ r. alcohol should do the trick?? Its not your standard water bubbles/condensation (? right terminology), its shiny and dry looking

You could try that I don't see how it could hurt if the soap is already set!

The same thing happened with some M&P I just made (hemp soap). It's the first time that's ever happened, and I just attributed it to the new fragrance oil I used.

What fragrance oil were you using and where did you get it?

I'm pretty sure it was Warm Vanilla Sugar if not Coconut, Peaches'n Milk (can't remember w/out going to smell as I did two sets). Both have vanilla- can't stand how it turns everything brown, I got a vanilla stabilizer and my Pink Sugar is still turning (must admit I didn't read the directions right and was adding depending of the amount of FO not lb of soap I was using :embarasse )
