miagracie
Hi! I was wondering about JBN/Southwest Candle Supply's Mexican Vanilla. It's described as having some spice. I don't generally enjoy spicy notes. Can you smell say for instance any clove, cinnamon or nutmeg in it? Is it a buttery vanilla? (I can't do buttery pretty much at all.)Any other non buttery vanilla recs for Southwest Candle?
franu61
I have a very old bottle of mex vanilla from jbn that I just sniffed..I don't get buttery at all and maybe a hint of clove. Not sure if it is (clove) spice and it is very faint..mostly i smell a strong non buttery vanilla. But the bottle is OLD..so HTH
number2of7
I don't detect any spice notes whatsoever! Mexican Vanilla, in my opinion, is like vanilla bean with a kick. Just a good solid vanilla.
