Sharon44 Posted August 5, 2012 Share Posted August 5, 2012 I've been going through some stuff I had boxed up and found my Fragrance oil enhancer from candles and supplies. This is what they use for the reed diffuser base. I checked their sites and it shows using a mix of 50/50. Seems like alot of fragrance oil to me. does anyone use this base and if so, do you go 50/50??If not, I'm looking for suggestions on a good base. rctfavr3 Posted August 7, 2012 Share Posted August 7, 2012 SOS has a new reed diffuser base thats less than $25 a gallon. It's mostly Isopropyl Myristate, so it should work! If not just plain ol IPM would work good too!Alternatively you could try mixing DPG with Witch Hazel although I don't know if the 14% alcohol content in WH would be strong enough to dilute and maintain a clear mixture.
