Sharon44
I'm curious if anyone has blended the 2. From what I have read, the 415 has great throw but looks bad. What if the two were mixed? I've got some 464 to play with and would probably buy some 415 if anyone has had good results.
rjdaines
I have done a 415/464 mix (80/20) but still poured at about 100F and it looks ok. It's still curing. I would not buy any 415 to try this unless you have other needs for it. I'm going to guess that the additives in 464 allow it to be pour hotter and have better tops, so blending 415 in it will just dilute the additives. This might be one of these examples where a blend gives you the worst of each wax.
IwantItgreen
Why don't you try to find 444. That is 415 with additives added for appearance. Just like 464 is really 402 with additives. We just don't know for sure what the additives are.
