preciousgifts Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 Stearin question Hello to all, I have just purchased that palm R-2778 and R-2779 wax. I am going to be making container candles. My question is I remember seeing something on this site which someone added a palm stearin. I currently have stearin acid are they the same or should I say while i will be at the testing stage can I substitute it until I find and order a palm stearin:undecided Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stella1952 Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) I use 1 Tbsp PP palm stearic acid to aid release in those waxes. You can pour without it, but the release is better with it.
