Strong OOB scent means strong HT?

I'm searching for strong scents to use in my soy and I have been purchasing samples of what others find to have a strong HT, but some of my samplers are really weak OOB.

Is there any connection between strong scent OOB and strong HT?

I have pured candles but are waiting for them to cure.

Not necessarily. If a FO is strong OOB, then often it's strong in the candle, although not always. If a scent is faint OOB, sometimes it'll really surprise you in the candle, especially with a good week's cure. Only way to really tell what a FO is going to do is put it in some wax.

No connection. A scent can make your eyes water when you sniff it out of the bottle and be absolutely nothing in wax. To make it even more confusing, a scent might blow the doors off in your wax and perform like an unscented candle in another wax.

You also have the fragrance load, wick, cure time, and a host of other things to consider.

Out of bottle reviews can be interesting (and to some people, fun), but from an end product standpoint, they are completely worthless.
