vberkesch
Quick question for those that put their lotion bar in a tin. I use the twist tube but am now going to offer tins also. I purchased tins for another product and ended up disappointed because the top was impossible to take off. I had to use a knife to pry open the top and had product flying all over!!! I want to avoid purchasing something like this again. What tin do you all purchase where the top goes on and comes off easily - but the top will stay on and not fall off!! TIA - Vanessa
ProudMarineMom
Have you looked at the slide top tins from Elements Bath and Body? Would those maybe work?http://www.elementsbathandbody.com/Tins-c-124.html
lsg
Mine look like the ones at this link, but I can't remember where I purchased them. The tops are pretty easy to remove. I use round silicone muffin pans to mold my lotion bars. They fit in these tins nicely.http://www.containerandpackaging.com/item.asp?item=M518 Edited January 19, 2011 by lsg

vberkesch
Hmm that looks real doable!!! Isa.....how do you like the way the caps fit on these??
lsg
The lids on mine stay on well but come off with a little twist. Why don't you contact the company and ask for a sample tin to see if you like them?
