Red
So, I added FO ( clinque happy type) to some jojoba oil and put in in a roll on tube. 4 days later and it smells JUST like fuel..ughAnyone have any guesses as to why? The FO seems to work fine in everything else

LuminousBoutique
hmm.. dont know what to tell you, it might just not be a good FO for perfume applications. I've never had that happen... and I've tested every single one of my skin safe (over 200..) in jojoba... thats just really odd.
number2of7
I've noticed that some FO's that have heavy citrus notes in them tend to smell "different" -- not necessarily a fuel smell IMO, but I see where you might get that as a description Perhaps try the FO with a different carrier oil other than jojoba and see what happens.... lauramw71
hmmm I use jojoba in my roll on perfume also and haven't gotten any strange scents out of it. I agree to try with a different carrier oil like FCO (I use that for roll on too depending on what i have on hand). I would also try a different FO. I would tend to think it was the FO you are using rather than the jojoba.
