BeagleBaby
Does anyone know how to make a crackled pillar candle. I'm sure there must be some magical think to do to get the cracks all over the candle. Any ideas . . Has anyone ever made these. I can get my to crack if I forget them in the freezer when they won't come out of the molds, not the way to do it.
Sharon in KY
Seems like I read to dip your pillar in hot water then ice water.
candlesprite7
Yep! Get your water to about 200 degree's then fill a bucket with ice water, dip your pillar in the hot water a couple of times then dip quickly in the cold water. It'll crackle. :-)I love the crackle candles, they are neat looking.
jaxxcandles
Sounds like a straightforward way to get the crackled look. Cool! Looking forward to trying this myself! Jackie
