Islandgrl
Been having issues with some of the wicks from WSP. Need to switch out companies. What are you all using in your square mason and regular jelly jars? Tried the CD Cotton and had been using the zinc low smoke from there before that. Disgusted and need to find something else! cactusladycandles
I use igi 4630 wax, which is similar to igi 4633 wax. And I use 51-32-18 zinc wicks. I get a perfect melt pool and a fantastic hot scent throw.
felixncharlie
I second the zincs. I just started working with zincs after being disappointed with the burn of other wicks and wow what a difference. They mushroom a bit but no soot and a great burn overall. I purchased my zincs from BC. Edited June 7, 2010 by felixncharlie
Islandgrl
Did both of you get yours from BC? I have a pack of the 51 - 32's that mabey I will give a try from there. I was suddenly getting a huge mushroom and tons of soot from WSP low smoke zincs and I used them for about 2 years!
cactusladycandles
I get mine from wherever they are on sale. I have gotten a lot of them from the "Classifieds" on this forum. No matter where I buy them, they all burn the same.
Steph in tx
Not all the same size wicks are the same. I usually buy mine from one place, but decided to try some from another business and found that the second place had the same size # on them, but they were smaller. I'm just sayin
