marcram
I am a beginner so please bare with me. Q: Can different fragrances make candles burn faster or slower? My example, I have 4 candles, all with the same wick, wax and fragrance amounts. 2 have Amish harvest, two are coffee. The coffee candles burn slower than the Amish when tested at the same lengths of time. Just weird...Thank youMarc
Abbiepql
Sure! That is what so many beginners don´t understand...the wax, wick. jar, fragrance, additives, anything that goes into a candle effects the way it ¨works¨ or burns, it´s the way the components work together that makes it a safe and great burning candle. And don´t forget burning conditions which can also effect the burn, like drafts, wick length, level of wax present in the jar, temperature, ect. Crazy huh?
