spawnie
I have come to like gel melts from the gel candle company located here:http://gelcandlecompany.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=41they are re-usable by adding drops of oils. Cleaning is a cinch, just let cool and peels right out. Great price and really works for me. Hope this helps others like me where I am not allowed to burn candles at work. AlwaysWondering
Speaking strictly as a consumer, I have tried gel candles but it was years ago. Tried many from retailers as well as crafts shows and market. Each and every one had a kerosene or the sterno burners under chafing dishes. Has gel wax evolved? Vicky_CO
I have made gel melts in the past and pretty much junked the idea because the scent just does not last all that long. I did use MP gel with 6% FO load I did not go more than that because I have seen gel leak out the FO any higher. You are still stuck using gel safe FO or the FO and gel seperate over time.
