I have a hair recipe that I want to try and would like to know if I can use olive butter in place of olive oil.

I guess it depends on what its being used for. Olive butter is going to give you a more "solid" result than olive oil. The only way to know for sure is to test.

Do you have any other oils? Perhaps just use another oil in place of the olive. My body butter recipe calls for olive oil but I use SAO, RBO and Jojoba oil instead of olive and it turns out great every time.
