CareBear
I am making an OMH set and they want a candle too. The FO works great in wax but is too cloying - what can I add to lighten it a bit. Orange maybe? I suck at this blending stuff.edited because it's too cloying, not to cloying. Judy, USMC
Cloying means too sweet, right? (Had to look that one up in the dictionary.) Some of the citrus FOs are also sweet and won't help. Maybe a nut or a spice would cut it better? Just my opinion as one option to try... but then it wouldn't exactly match the rest of the set.I'd be interested in seeing some other options. CareBear
I don't need it to match precisely - just go well with them.
sockmonkey
How about cinnamon? I think a bit of spice would go nicely with it. Maybe vanilla or something vanilla/clove.This sounds kind of nasty, but I'm also thinking of something just a little bit green--aloe, clover, or grass type scent--just a smidge though.
