FunFlames
A friend has this issue.... my soap helps, but am wondering what other additives really seem to help.Right now I use SFIC shea base, grapeseed oil, cocoa butter, coconut oil, some Dr. Bronners liquid soap for extra lather... might be one other thing but my recipe isn't near me.Can anyone recommend any additional things to try?TIA)Danielle
sockmonkey
I've seen suggestions for chamomile, lavender, neem, camillia, and emu oils for treating psoriasis. Oatmeal is also supposed to be good to relieve itching.
elfcat
My kids and I suffer from psoriasis and we use oatmeal base soap (SFIC) with no fragrances or dyes. Just ground and toasted oatmeal and spices for color. I also add vitamin e.
Judiinjax
The oatmeal soap, unscented is probably the best choice for psoriasis. If you make balms, you might try making her a balm with some neem oil, borage oil and emu oil. The balm or salve works well to keep the itching and scaling down.
