Jokerjen
Well, I FINALLY got around to making these, did a batch in Pink Sugar and it was a lovely pink, well today..they are a not so lovely brown!I am assuming I would need to add a vanilla stabilizer to keep it from doing this? They did produce amazing bubbles and scent though!
PattyZB
Oh no! It still works well though! That is one of my most favorite scents!
TheQueen
Yep, that's what Pink Sugar does. :rolleyes2 I've learned to live with it as it's still one of my fave scents, too.
RetroMetroChic
I Made so many bubble bars that turned ugly brown, and looked like they were molded. vanilla stabilizer did not work either, I've tried it. For some reason bubble bars really brown quickly and easily, the only way around it is to use a fragrance oil with absolutely no vanilla, like single flower notes or citrus I've been searching for over 8 years for a way to make a bubble bar with a vanilla scent without it browning... And still have not found the answer...
asheebeans
Well you guys are one step ahead of me.....at least you can make a decent bubble bar! I can't make one to look good in ANY color! LOL Mine turn out so mushy! They didn't firm up after days and days of drying.

Scent Cellar
Google "Recipe for Bubble Bars" and you will find a few recipes. Don't have any idea if they are good but some are compared to Lush's.
Jokerjen
I don't have a problem with my recipe, just the fact that the fragrance caused it to turn brown...but thanks
