kitchenfairy
Hi, I hope this is in the right place.I've just begun making sachets with aroma beads and for about 2 weeks they are great, then they fade to almost nothing. They are not in extremely hot places and they are where air can move over them. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed. All my FOs are from CS and I got the beads from Peak so it's not like I'm using inferior products. Any thoughts? Is there something I can add to make them last longer? miniiB
I heard that they dont usually last long. But im planning on finding out for myself. Maybe you should add more fragrance oil. How much are you using?
kitchenfairy
I was using the amount recommended in the instructions on BC. I'll add a smidge more this time around and see if that helps. I'd always heard they lasted around 30-60 days depending on the situation....
Craftyone
I use the aroma beads to make ornies, and when placed in a car they give off a nice fragrance for a couple of months at least. The heat in the car makes them more fragrant. I also make sachets with them, and have found that they work best when used in a dresser drawer, or a closet, that type of thing. I don't think they work very well in a large room.
kitchenfairy
Thanks... I guess I'll have to remember to put on my labeling that these are better for enclosed spaces. I really appreciate all the answers you all gave.
