  1. Do you think the Bluetooth Square card reader did not work for you because your phone was not listed as compatible, as you had posted in an earlier message? Makes me wonder if mine will work. I haven't tried to use mine yet as I was waiting until my spring farmers markets start. Supposed to get the first $50.00 in processing fees free, but that has to be within so many months after you first use it. I also have the Square combo chip & magnetic reader that you recently got, but I could not get that to work at my outdoor shows. Anyone else try the Bluetooth Square reader yet?
  2. I think your label looks great! The only thing I would do is add the nt. wt.
  3. Have you put it in wax yet? I use the FO from BCN in wax melts, and to me it smells exactly like Fruit Loops!
  4. I agree that the polypropylene ones are the best ones to use.
  5. Yes, I think Panic's are easy to open and close. I used to get them from eclamshells, but after buying several cases, I got a case of them that were very hard to close. So I started getting them from Panic instead.
  6. I have ordered from Panic Plastics many times...have never had a plastic smell!
  7. I always wipe the pot out with a paper towel, and wipe the spoon as well. If the scent was a really strong one, I give the pot a quick squirt of rubbing alcohol and wipe again.
  8. I placed an order with BCN last week....had my tracking # within 24 hours! That is much faster than usual!
  9. I make a Lemon Poppyseed cp soap using Lemon Pucker FO from BCN. It is a wonderful exfoliating soap, and holds its scent well.
  10. I believe there are two types of titanium dioxide...water soluble and oil soluble. Do you know which type you have?
  11. Awhile back I ordered a 1 lb. bottle of fragrance oil from a different supplier. Turns out their inventory was off and they only had 8 oz. left...which they sent to me. But they charged me the regular 8 oz. price for it (which was much higher per ounce) instead of 1/2 of the 16 oz. price, like I thought they should.
  12. BCN has a Black Currant Vanilla, but I don't know how close it is to BBW.
  13. These jars don't appear to be the wide mouth Kerr jars though... http://www.dollartree.com/catalog/se...+jar& x=9&y=7
  14. The prices you listed for the Scentsy melts are their regular prices. Kind of misleading to indicate that those are "sale" prices.
  15. Just wanted to comment that USPS will pick up priority packages at your home for free! Just print your shipping labels online (you get a discounted price), and request pickup!
  16. The best way I have found for filling the lip balm tubes is using a small glass measuring cup (the kind with a pour spout). I get the measuring cup really hot by filling it with water, and heating it up in the microwave. Then I pour the water out, wipe it dry, and melt the lip balm base. The glass retains the heat so I have no problem getting the tubes filled before the base cools off.
  17. Oregon Trail has a Spring Mountain Mint that is wonderful in CP!
  18. BCN's Fruity Loops smells exactly like Fruit Loops! It is supposed to soap well, but I haven't soaped it myself.
  19. I also was hesitant to order from the Candlemakers Store because of the high shipping, so I called my order in and asked if they would ship using the USPS flat rate box. They were wonderful to work with! My order was sent promptly with a reasonable shipping fee!
  20. I use BCN's (BNL)Cucumber Melon in cp soap and it soaps beautifully! No acceleration even with a water discount, and no discoloration. I use a lot of their fragrances: (BNL)Apple Jack & Peel Type, Cedar & Saffron, (BNL) Eucalyptus Spearmint, Love Spell type, MacIntosh Apple, (BNL) Peppercorn, (BNL) Sandalwood Vanilla, Spiced Cranberry, Stonehenge type, Vanilla Bean Supreme, and (Wick Your Wax) Vanilla Grapefruit are some of my favorites! If you do order the cucumber melon, be sure you order the BNL one, as they have 4 different cucumber melons to choose from.
  21. Cierra Candles has a Midnight Jasmine. Not sure how close it is to Yankee's. http://www.cierracandles.com/Midnight-Jasmine-Fragrance-Oil.html
  22. I have shipped many packages from Oregon to New Jersey and they always arrive in 2 days, so I don't understand why a package shipped from Oregon to Seattle, WA (a 3 hour drive from me) usually takes 3 days!
  23. There is no need to throw the soap away or rebatch it just because it doesn't "look good to you". Set the soap aside and let it cure for 4-6 weeks...you will probably be amazed at the bubbles you get!
  24. I use several from Bittercreek North that men just love. Cedar & Saffron, Stonehenge Type, Peppercorn, Gentlemen's Bay Rum and Drakkar Type all sell great for me!
