Soya
Just wondering.... Can I use regular kitchen High Ball glasses as candle containers? TY
Grumpy Girl
If the glass is thick enough, and you test them extensively it shouldn't be a problem. I use both Libbey's Rock's glasses and 8oz tumblers without a problem, but I've tested the heck out of them.
Soya
Thank you Grumpy I did have the Libbey tumblers in mind. I personally have had trouble wicking their candle jars...or better yet I've had trouble wicking anything..lol
TxSioux
I use Crisa (Libbey) 12oz Impression Barware glasses for candles. I recently had one crack after over a year & many refills. BTW, it cracked while I was cleaning it, not while burning. On the other hand, I've had an actual Libbey candle holder (very thick) break while burning. Again, it was a container I had refilled a number of times. These are both containers I sell new, but refill my own for personal use & testing. I don't pour gel, but those are often poured in regular glassware. Susan.
