Candle Junkie
If I am double wicking a 28oz square container, how far apart should the wicks be? I am using zinc wicks and J223. TIA
eugenia
About 1" away from the sides of the jar.e
Candle Junkie
This is actually my first time double wicking. I am testing 2 containers now one with 1 60z and the other with a 62z. I burned yesterday for 6hrs didn't get a full melt pool. 2nd burn was for 4hrs. still not a full melt pool. So this is why I may need to double wick. The container is a truly square container it is 4in wide all the way around. The dimensions diagonally is 5in.. Should I start with 2 51z or 2 41z. I guess I should of asked this in my orignal post. Sorry. I am giving these candels to make co-workers for Christmas, So I need all the help I can get.TIA
Paulette
I would try 2 44z and put them diagonal. that is what I use for those square jars from Walmart(the ones with the lids on them.)
