Lyndsay
I got some Anhydrous Lanolin from MMS because I am nursing (for the nipples). It says Ultrafine, Anhydrous Lanolin. Super light color, very little odor. It stinks!!! It smells like a bandaid!!!!!!!Should I mix it with an oil or something or use it pure and how can I get this stink to go away? I dont really want to use a fo or eo in it...any suggestions?
Jola
lol, sorry just had to comment that I found it hilarious that it smells like a BANDAID! Sorry, I don't have any advice for you though
Aunt Bee
I've used it for years to enhance premade lotions and cremes and it does have a scent all it's own. It's so hard to use straight, I would think you would have to mix it with some type oil or creme that would be safe for the baby. Also I would think using it at a rate of more than 20% to 25% in your finished product would result in a texture and scent you would not be happy with. I would start with 10% and go from there.
