dslewis18
I've been making candles for a mere three months and just started selling them at a local boutique. I've been trying different waxes and different techniques and I'm having a great time of it.I've noticed candles sold by a very popular store that are monogramed. Does anyone have any idea how they do it?I've racked my small brain and can't come up with any answers, unless they have a machine that does it.Thanks for any feedback. Stella1952
I think there's a thread where we discussed embossing candles - is that what you mean? If so, here's the thread link I was remembering... http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52081there are others if you search for emboss in the General Candlemaking forum... beekeeper_sd
I read somewhere that if you apply printed rice paper to your candle, then dip in a clear wax, the wax paper will seemingly disappear, leaving the printing on the candle. I have wanted to try it but haven't yet. If you do this and find it works, let me know. GOOD LUCK
