AntoniasCreations Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 OK I found a recipe that I am wanting to try out once I get my pre-buy soap, and it calls for Lanolin in it. I was wondering if this is the same stuff that I already have from when I was breastfeeding my daughter? In the ingredients it says 100% lanolin (ultrapure medical grade, USP modified lanolin). Would this be the same thing?The recipe just says 2 TBSP lanolin. This is a recipe for 1 lb of m&p soap. I am not really sure if there is an lanolin oil out there, this stuff is more like a lotion but with the consistencies of a lip balm. I remember once in the past when I had severe (I mean they were really bad and bleeding all over) chapped lips my Dr. told me to put some of it on my lips and sure enough by the next day they were almost back to there normal self.
