litefut
Has anyone had any electric candle warmers that smell really bad when you first use them? I mean they really smell horrible. I sold 5 of them yesterday and went to bring them some additional items and when I walked in the door they had the candle warmer turned on and I was thinking, that could not be my candle wax. It was that warmer. I did contact the company who sold them to me and they told me it was the solder burning off but the warmes are safe. They said it would burn off in a few minutes but it took alot longer to quit smelling. It still has a faint odor to it. I burned mine about 5 hours. I was just wondering if you had any complaints like this. I just started using the warmers in my business and I don't want it to affect my sales. I got these at a really great price. Could just have been a bad batch of warmers they received.
bugtussle
My experience is that all warmers have a slight smell when they are first used just like a toaster, electric skillet or iron. Carole
litefut
Yes, I know the smell you are describing, but these warmers smelled like dead fish when you heat them. It's horrible. I'm sending them back.
Sharon in KY
Never had any smell, maybe the tart over took a smell. But nothing would be like your taking about. Let us in on where you got them so we don't order any.....
