Dolphin146
I made some whipped soap today for the top of my new soap. Well to me it seems kind of crumbly. Is this how it is supose to be? Also when you put it on the top of your soaps. does it wash away after the first use or does it stay as long as the bar lasts. Oh I almost forgot I used shea Butter M&P soap. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks
prairieannie
I've never tried making whipped MP soap. How did you do it?I wish I could answer your questions, but I haven't a clue!! I hope someone here has tried it and knows, I'd be interested in the answers as well!
DeAnna_EC
ive whipped mp before, i didnt like the way it felt, it was crumbly i think because it just cools down to fastyou can whip it just til its frothy, then pour, buts its really not whipped up like frostingto get it to stick to the layer i let a skin form then poked a few holes in it, gently pushed down so some base came up, sprayed with alcohol and put the whipped ontop, it stuck together, i think it does melt aways faster than the other layer
Peachdream
I tried this today too. Mine feels kind of rubbery rather than crumbly and definitely couldnt be piped. Obviously the whipped soap base has an extra ingredient or two that stops it setting up so fast and keep its texture. I have been trying to do a search and find out what I could add to have the same effect, but no luck yet.
