van_yulay
I was wanting to make my own facial wax. To remove unwanted hair. I cant find anything , but sugar peels. Has anyone ever made their own?
Rosies
I was hoping someone would have an answer for you as I've been wanting a recipe for this myself. I've only been able to find the sugar stuff too and it didn't work as well as I'd like.

elitenaildesign
If you can come up with something that is less painful than what I use, your going to be rich. I buy my own waxing stuff from a salon supplier and its sheer hell to wax my face:laugh2:
van_yulay
Well, I have ordered supplies, and I use emu oil. Which is soothing. Then I have about 100 different oils and over 500 essential oils. So I am researching right now to see what would be good. I also am making a bottle of the lotion/oils you apply afterwards, for residue and closing the pores. Any thoughts?
elitenaildesign
The wax I use didnt show the ingredients, but here is what is in the wax remover for the face and it works wellParaffinum Liquidum(I have no idea what that is) Retinyl PalminateTocopheryl AcetateLanolinWheat germ Oil
van_yulay
You know , after ten years of making bb items, and doing the research on this one, I cant believe that there isnt better products for this. I know that I have really fair skin and I am sensitive, so I am perfect for this project. I know that most people break out afterwards because of bateria ( Being a cosmetolist aslo helps). SO tea tree needs to be in the lotion. Also I cant believe what people use to close their pores. LOL... If anyone can tell me their experiance I would appreciate so I can formulate it better. Rosies
Lavender is soothing so you might want to add that to your lotion. It goes well with the tea tree oil too. Keep us posted and good luck.
Sharon in KY
What I use to used looked like hot glue sticks. Maybe a little softer but not much. I have heard of mixing hot glue with pillar wax to harden it up. So maybe the same would work in reverse. Try a glue pot with some softer wax to lower the melt point. Or maybe those low melt glue sticks would be perfect. All I have is the high melt ones or I would try it.
