jwn6w
I have made a bunch of tarts out of tortise palm container wax from Candle Science using there FO's. I use 1oz/lb of wax. What is happening is they smell good for 1 tea light burn which is about 4 hours. The next day when I light them again after a little while they start to smell like they are burnt. My son asked me tonight what was burning and it was my tart. Does anybody have an idea as to why I am having this problem. It has occurred with several different FO's. It has already happened with the first burn with my coffee scent, that one was really stinky it upset my stomach! I would appreciate any advice. Thanks,Joy:confused:
rustic
I have found that using the tealights tart warmers can heat your tarts too hot which burns the fragrance off too quickly. Try a electric tart warmer, that's what I use now, they don't get as hot so the fragrance does last longer. Hope that helps. :smiley2:
