Lisasoaps
I have been using cargil nature wax c3 for about 4 years now and I cant understand why all of a sudden this started happening. The pink is supposed to be mini strawberry ice cream scoops. See how it looks like there is powder all over it? It kinda looks like very old chocolate bars look. My daughter and I made these about 2 months ago. I thought it was maybe the dye but even the vanilla ones w/out dye look like this. Not as bad but enough to look unattractive.Any help on what could have happened would be greatly appreciated.
kimmeroo
They frosted..the only downfall of soy...if you want nice looks you may want to try a parasoy blend...the blends tho usually tend to need around 5-10 days to cure...but it is well worth it if you can wait.:smiley2: HTH... Stella1952
Yep - frosting. It's worse with browns and pink colors and some FOs...
Lisasoaps
Thank you both. We never used color in our soy candles and tarts and had no problem. It wasnt just the pinks and browns though. All of our colors frosted. some sets of blue frosted and some didnt, some pinks did and some didnt , Just wierd. I dont like that guessing game. Time to rethink a few things. Thanks again :smiley2:
