Dolphin146
I am using a 50/50 wax mix and tried to make some chunk container candles. The chunks I made out of my 50/50 wax but they are very soft and stick to the molds. What I want to know is can I use a votive tart wax to make the chunks then my 50/50 mix to pour over it. or is there another way to make the chunks so they aren't so soft and will unmold easier. Thanks Regina
Stella1952
Have you tried putting the chunks in the refrigerator to harden them before demolding them?

laura9259
definately use a votive/pillar wax for chunks and then its fine to use your 50/50 for the overpour

logcabinmomma
I have used all soy (c-3) to make chunk container candles. I used a jellyroll pan lined with foil, poured it, put it in the freezer, then took it out and flipped the foil out. No sticking and then I just cut/broke it with a knife. Worked great!-Kristi
