asheebeans
HOW in the heck does everyone get their bath bomb portion to look so good? I finally mastered the frosting part (which honestly I thought might never happen :embarasse ) but I am having a bugger of a time with the bottoms being too crumbly or stupid looking! I tried using silicone molds in the shape of cupcakes with liners. If I pack them too full they look wonky and shaped funny. If I don't pack them enough the bombs fall apart in my hands! Don't even get me started on unmolding them! I also got desperate and tried the six cavity cupcake mold with no lines, just smooth cavities. Still no luck! Anyone have any tips/advice on what they do? I'm at my wit's end! Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can offer!
Grumpy Girl
I use the hard plastic condiment cups for molds. They'd never fit in a cupcake paper though, but they're proportional when the icing is added and I like the look of them better without the papers anyway. Personal preference I guess. maybe worth checking your recipe? I know mine have started warting a bit if they're wrapped in cellophane and I need to have a second look at it.
