Wick'n'Wax
Hi,Is anyone aware of any 'different' non-bleed colours for melt and pour soap?In the UK, we can get a variation of waterbased ones for clear glycerin soaps, but the non bleed for say goatsmilk are very basic.Someones suggested some pop micas from the US, anyone use these? How do you get a powder blended into M&P.Or are there some nicer colours available in the US in non-bleed.I know you can mix the basic colours, but they never come out as I want.ta muchly x
Ruina
Let me try to help. The pop mica colors & neon oxides are from this website. http://www.tkbtrading.com/index.php?category=27I found that mixing glycerin with the micas & oil with the neons work best for me.If you're interested in premixed liquid non-bleeding colors, see here:http://www.goplanetearth.com/colors_for_soap.htmlhope that helps
Wick'n'Wax
thanks for that Just ordered some of the pop micas am ok with those as they are micas, but the neons on other link are non-cosmetic. In my certification (I'm in the UK), can only use cosmetic grade Shame they looked lovely
Ruina
You'll love those micas. But you'll not get the colors or sparkly if you try them on opaque mp. They're lovely in clear though. Also, I've experimented mixing the micas right into melted mp without clumping or speckling.
