Pam W
save yourself the trouble of remelting by using some pliers to pull the wick out, insert new wick then hit the top with the heat gun and you're ready to go. If you must remelt, put the container in the oven on low setting or set in a pan of water on the stove top, again with heat on low setting. FunFlames
You can also set the jar on a candle warmer. It melts all the wax and while it is melting you can wick another jar. When it is ready.... pour from one jar to another. I do this when I only have one or two to do. If I have more I do the oven method. You can get candle warmers for $5 at Walmart.HTH
jcristan
i usually just set the jar into a shallow water and boil it.
Pam W
i usually just set the jar into a shallow water and boil it.That's the best method for me. Since I'm in Arizona it's just too hot to use the oven method!!!
Stella1952
Be CAREFUL using glass containers on candle warmers! Best to melt in the oven or in a shallow pan with water in it. I use an old electric frying pan for this.
