jeniryan
Do any of you make layered container candles using C3? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
malaki
i have done a layered candy corn container candle with c-3 and they came out pretty good just pour them cool or they will bleed into the next color.
Stella1952
I make these a lot... here's a recent 5 layer candle...I use the leftovers from other projects for these. It's not necessary to pour cool unless that's what you normally do. I pour these at the same temp as I normally would, which is on the hot side. Pour at whatever temp you normally pour your C3, let the first layer set up until the top is hardened just enough to support the next layer, pour the next layer, let it cool until it can support the next layer, etc. Just like jello. Easy peasy.
jeniryan
Thanks everyone. I just wasn't sure how well the C3 would work with layers. I'll be sure and let the layers set for a bit before pouring the next. Lovely candle Stella!
