tootie04 Posted April 28, 2008 Share Posted April 28, 2008 OK I poured two candles with 6006 wax. 8oz sq mason jars.Candle A has a CDN 10 wick in itCandle B has a CDN 12 wick in it.Now the candle with the CDN 10 wick has SOME soot around the top. Not much but it is noticable.The candle with the CDN 12 in it is burning CLEAN and no soot....I always thought if the wick was too BIG it would soot....does this happen if the wick is too small too???tootie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
