TwinMom
between palm waxes when it comes to using it for forever pillars? I know there is different effects you can get. And how do you get palm wax really really white?
Stella1952
Yes, there is a difference in the crystal patterns different types of pillar palm wax will make. Some folks think this is simply related to temp, but I promise that no matter how hard you try, ya won't get fireworks from feather and vice versa!!The pillar palm waxes I have used are really, really white after they are poured without any coloring added. I suppose one could add white liquid colorant also, but I have never found that necessary. I use UV protectant to prevent yellowing over time and fading of colors. TwinMom
Thanks that helps out lots. Do you mind sharing where you buy your palm waxes? I am looking to get palm that will hold up for a forever pillar. Thanks
Stella1952
I haven't found there is a huge amount of difference between one supplier's pillar palm wax and another's. You simply have to choose the crystal pattern you want for your candles and purchase that blend.
