cmspath
one of my wholesale accounts is interested in this type of tin - her words... "sort of a brushed silver, except on the top around the edges it is not brushed it's shiny " any ideas? I was getting the containers from Containers and Packaging... Sara
Do you have a picture of these, or are you trying to find something that fits this description?
MissMary
That description makes me think of a regular tin, that has been polished from the lip bump up... is that what you are thinking?
cmspath
Funny you should ask.. I just had a duh moment and thought it probably would help if I added the picture here it is.. See how it is shiny on the edges on the top of the lid...
bugtussle
I think that is just the photo. My tins are also shiney if you catch them at a certain angle. They look like regular brushed tins to me. Carole
cmspath
Well that is what I thought also.. the containers on the front of http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=25 are what I am looking for, but if you go to the link, you can tell that the lid is very different.. I called and the lady said she could tell what I was talking about, it must of been an older picture.. and those lids are not available. bugtussle
When I started making tins over 5 yrs ago, I may have had the shinier ones. They scratched easily and were really sharp, like they could cut fingers. Now sharp edges are rolled and they have a brushed finish. I'm not sure you want the old ones. cmspath
I will let my wholesale account know that.. Never thought of them scratching, but that sure makes sense.. Thanks.
