cactusladycandles
I just bought a lot of different color aluminum tea light cups from a lady off of ebay. My questions is: can I pour my wax straight into them and will they be strong enough to take the hot wax standing alone. Or will I have to put them into glass tea light cups to support them while I pour.
asbufra
They will probably hold up to heated wax with no problem but they will be easy to tip and spill. I think placing them in holders is a good idea.
Sharon in KY
I've never had one tip. You won't be moving them till they are set up. Place on a tray and having them at a little higher level, so you can see the wax going in. Most people pour from a Pyrex measuring cup or even a Dixie cup, something smaller. And a littler cooler wax makes it easier, the wick won't fall over when the wax is cooler.
