Purple Lilac Posted October 29, 2005 Share Posted October 29, 2005 My favorite is "The Natural Soap Book" by Susan Miller Cavitch.There are recipes , step by step instructions, plus loaded with lots of information on the different properties of oils , trouble shooting, coloring etc. She even goes into the chemistry of soap making.
