blueparrot67 Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I have been working with Palm 3 wax with metal pillar molds/wickpins and I have used 2 different Vanilla FO's from two different companies and every time I pour the scent in the mold it turns into an overpowering burnt metal smell.I poured at 200 deg. and I have poured as low as 150 degrees.It is not my pour pan or molds they smell fine, and I have made other batches in them no problems.The oils smell great out of the bottle.
