ScentsandMore
I have some of the red wire heart shape baskets from I think last years co-op. I have read that when making gift baskets that you should put shread or something in the bottom of baskets to raise your product up. Those of you that have used these wire baskets before, did you put anything in the bottom and if so, what. How did you make it look nice so that you didn't see a bunch of shread or paper? Hope I am making sense with my question. Thanks.
Cindys
I crumple paper up then wrap that paper in a piece of tissue paper. Then sprinkle your shredded paper. This helps the wire holes to not leak the shreds. If its to high then take some out. Hope this helps
TheWickChick
Shred is good with wicker baskets, but it might hang out in a wire basket. I've used tissue paper before, and then if you need to build up the bottom you can use more tissue paper or blocks of styrofoam covered in tissue paper. Country Crafter
You can line your basket with a piece of clear cello then use shred.
TwinMom
I use shred, tissue paper and bubble wrap....either small or big depending on basket size. I put a piece of tissue paper to cover it and then a handful of shred. Raises your products and doesnt use a lot of shred
