cactusladycandles
Has anyone used the Feather Palm Wax from Candle Science. I've heard that some of the palm waxes are hard, if not impossible, to get out of the molds. cactusladycandles
Violetsexoticcandles
I've used it and haven't had a problem, but then again, I've only used it in 1 3" round pillar mold and in votive molds. As long as you grease up your mold before-hand and your molds don't have dents or other damage, it should come out ok. Then again, who knows?? I don't know what molds the others were using. Stella1952
I have never used CandleScience's Feather Wax product, but I have used several other brands of pillar palm wax and have had no problems with them sticking to our molds (sheet metal, aluminum, tin, polycarbonate and plastic). Adding palm stearic acid helps palm wax release quite easily. I don't use any sort of release on the molds at all. The wax contracts quite a bit, so it doesn't give us demolding problems.
