snow
someone is giving me a bunch of fresh pine cones, just picked off the ground today and its raining. Question....how do you dry them? I made them last year and the cones I had were already dry. Someone said you can put them in the oven, is this true and if so what temp and for how long? TIA
doris
I would just leave them for a couple of days. If you do put them in the oven, put it on the lowest setting. I have a feeling that if you dry them at too high a temp, they could become really brittle.
gingerinarkansas
I always put mine in the oven on lowest temp for awhile cause it kills any hiding bugs. Ginger
