Candlebuddy Posted October 25, 2007 Share Posted October 25, 2007 I'm just test burning Banana Cream from KY this morning ... Farmhouse 50/50 soy blend, 8oz sq. mason jar, 8%, CD12, 4 day cure. This is very discouraging, I'm getting absolutely nothing ... no hot throw (cold throw was light). I have to put my nose right up to the burning candle in order to smell anything (I've been burning this for 2 hours) ... maybe a longer cure is needed. I love KY fo's but I guess a strong banana is hard to find. So far, after all my banana testing ... Banana Nut Bread from Candle Science seems to work the best in my wax.
