saucyscents
We have always used powder to make dark rich colors (red, Green), however I can't find anyone selling powder any more. Does anyone know a distributer or have another good way of making soy wax a dark red color. Christmas is coming!! HELP!

lindanelson
I use 1 red dye chip per 1# of soy or palm wax. I mix that really good, then cut off small bits of a black dye chip. I keep dropping a little bit on wax paper to see what the dried color is. It usually doesn't take much black to make it darker.I mix my color before the fragrance oil is added. Sometimes that can alter the color, but usually not that much.
